I’ve always been fascinated by subminiature cameras and their design, sparked off in the first place by reading an article in an old ‘LION’ annual when I was about 9 years old – this showed a sinister looking spy character using a lighter camera and a watch camera. I thought it was made up until some time in the early 1990s when I read about the Echo 8 ‘zippo’ style lighter camera and the Steineck ABC watch camera… truth is indeed stranger than fiction!
